Embroidery for restaurant uniforms
Embroidery is what we recommend for anything that gets washed every day. Thread outlasts ink through bleach and commercial laundry. Battle Born Clothing runs two single-head commercial machines in Yerington, NV with Rapos thread.

Add $18.99 one-time digitizing per design. Every embroidery price covers one design up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each additional 1,000 stitches adds $2.00 (1-11 pcs), $1.50 (12-23), $1.00 (24-59), $0.60 (60-79) or $0.50 (80+) per piece, rounded up to the next 1,000; we tell you the exact count with the proof. There is no minimum.
Where it goes
- Apron bib, centered, 3 to 4 inches wide
- Waist apron pocket panel, about 3 inches wide
- Polo and tee left chest, 3 to 4 inches wide
- Cap front panel, up to about 2.25 inches tall on a structured cap
- Beanie cuff, about 1.5 inches tall
Artwork
Send vector art (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) or a 300 dpi PNG. We digitize it once for $18.99 and keep the file. Fine text under about 0.25 inches tall does not embroider well; we will tell you on the proof if something needs simplifying.
Why embroidery for aprons
Aprons take grease, sauce and bleach. A screen print on an apron will fade and crack over months of daily washing; embroidery will not. Pay the extra dollar or two per piece on anything that stays in service a year.
Questions
How many stitches is a typical restaurant logo?
Most 3 to 4 inch logos land between 4,000 and 8,000 stitches. Up to 6,000 is included in the flat rate; above that it is $1.50 to $0.50 per additional 1,000 stitches depending on quantity (see the stitch count table on the pricing page).
Can you match our brand colors?
Yes. Send Pantone or hex values and we pick the closest Rapos thread. The proof shows the thread choices.
Do you embroider customer-supplied aprons?
Yes, at $2 per item handling plus the decoration rate, with a 4 percent industry-standard spoilage allowance that we aim to beat.
